Anyone who's thinking about going to see DCFC in St. George's market, here's a better idea. How about you spend a little be extra money and go down to see them in the Ambassador in Dublin instead? At least then you might actually be able to hear the music! If a crowd of us go down together we can all stay in a hostel or something, or maybe somebody knows people we can stay with. It'd be a much better gig experience. Speaking as an audiophile and sound engineer I'd rather not see the band at all than see them in that fuckin' place.

What is the date for them playing in Dublin? I am actually so so gutted I can't go to this =( However if the dates weren't too bad I could fly home for it. It would be worth it i think. =]

i can recommend the place i stayed at for nationals, it is pretty much renting a really fancy flat for a night so if your sneaky you can fit as many as you want in ther and split the cost, it isn't in the city center but if your making a huge saving on were your staying then a taxi ride is worth it.

If you wanna stay in the city centre, I recommend http://www.gogartys.ie/
Hostel sort of thing. From 20euro a nite, in temple bar so you can make a night of it as its surrounded by pubs and a shop that stays open v late
